Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating a StoreAI account or installing the StoreAI Chrome extension, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service. We may update these Terms; if a change materially affects your rights, we’ll send a notice to the email on your account at least 14 days before it takes effect.
2. The service
StoreAI (“we”, “us”, “the service”) is an analytics tool for Shopee sellers. The Chrome extension reads data from your own logged-in Shopee Seller Centre on a schedule you configure, our servers analyse that data against a fixed set of anomaly rules, and we deliver summary reports plus alerts via the web dashboard and Telegram.
We currently support Shopee Malaysia. We may add platforms and features over time; we will not silently remove features from an active subscription.
3. Eligibility & account
You may use StoreAI only if:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are the owner or an authorised operator of the Shopee Seller Centre account being scanned. Scanning a third party’s store without their permission is not permitted and may also violate Shopee’s own terms.
- You provide accurate sign-up information and keep it current.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, email leo@bbiz.ai immediately.
4. Trial period
New accounts get a one-time 24-hour free trial of the Standard plan, started automatically when you create your first brand. No credit card is required to start the trial. When the 24 hours end, scans pause until you subscribe — past data on the dashboard remains readable.
5. Subscription, billing & renewal
The Standard plan is USD $500 per month per brand, charged via Stripe.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically every month on the same date until you cancel. By subscribing you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge your card on each renewal.
- Cancellation: you can cancel any time in Dashboard → Billing → Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the END of your current paid period — you keep access until that date, then scans pause.
- No partial-month refunds: if you cancel mid-month, you are not refunded for the unused portion of that month. This matches the “coverage runs to the end of period” line on the pricing page.
- Failed payments: if your card is declined, Stripe retries automatically for 3 days. During that window your subscription state shows “past due” in the dashboard but scans continue. After all retries fail, your subscription is suspended; you can re-subscribe with an updated card any time.
- Disputes / chargebacks: filing a chargeback with your bank for a charge on a subscription that was actively delivering scans is grounds for immediate account suspension and recovery of any disputed funds.
- Taxes: prices shown are exclusive of any applicable consumption tax (e.g. Malaysian SST). Where we are required to collect tax, Stripe will add it at checkout.
- Price changes: we may change the subscription price for new sign-ups at any time. For an already-active subscription, we will give 30 days’ email notice before the next renewal at a new price. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source of the service, except to the extent that applicable law forbids that restriction.
- Use the service to scan or analyse a Shopee Seller Centre account that is not yours and that you are not authorised by the owner to scan.
- Use the service for anything illegal, fraudulent, or in breach of Shopee’s seller terms.
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or expose the service to third parties as a hosted product without a separate written agreement with us.
- Attempt to bypass our scan-quota / billing logic, or scrape the StoreAI web app itself.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, and we will fully cooperate with any law-enforcement or Shopee investigation when legally required.
7. Intellectual property
We retain all rights to the StoreAI software, brand, dashboard UI, scoring rules, prompts, and infrastructure. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them for your own brand for the duration of your subscription.
You retain all rights to the data we extract from your own Shopee dashboard. By using the service you grant us a license to process that data solely to provide and improve the service — see the Privacy Policy for the precise scope.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not commit to a formal SLA on the Standard plan. The service is delivered “as available” — Shopee dashboard changes, Chrome alarm quirks, or upstream outages (Stripe, Telegram, Anthropic, Laravel API hosting, Vercel) can interrupt scans or report delivery. When an interruption is on our side and lasts more than 24 hours, we will, at our discretion, credit the affected day to your next renewal.
Enterprise customers receive a contractual SLA on a per-deal basis.
9. Limitation of liability
StoreAI is a decision-support tool. Anomaly alerts and AI- generated diagnoses are inputs to YOUR decisions about your store; they are not advice and we make no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for business outcomes that depend on actions you choose to take based on our reports.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold us harmless from any third-party claim arising out of (a) your use of the service in breach of these Terms, (b) your violation of Shopee’s terms, or (c) your scanning of stores you are not authorised to access.
11. Termination
By you: cancel your subscription at any time via Dashboard → Billing → Manage subscription. To delete your account entirely, email leo@bbiz.ai after your subscription has fully ended (we can’t delete an account that still has an active Stripe subscription attached, otherwise Stripe would keep charging your card).
By us: we may suspend or terminate your account immediately if (a) you breach Section 6, (b) you file a chargeback on a delivered subscription, or (c) we reasonably believe your account is being used for fraud or to harm others. We will refund any unused portion of pre-paid fees unless the termination was for fraud or abuse.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes what data the service collects and how we handle it. By using the service you accept the Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be resolved in the courts of Malaysia, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual-property rights or confidential information.
14. Changes to these Terms
If we change these Terms, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes are communicated via email to active subscribers at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
